The dripper comes with all necessary parts such as 10 paper filters, a coffee basket, a borosilicate carafe and a rainmaker to pour water. Once we filled paper filters with our desired amount of coarse coffee grounds, we poured water over the rainmaker on the top. We allowed the grounds to steep with cold water for 16-24 hours. After that time, we can begin dripping coffee into a carafe.

There is a large difference between best cold brew coffee makers and best iced coffee machines. Not all iced coffee machines can yield delicious cold brew, and, vice versa, not all cold brew coffee makers can brew coffee over ice.
What is the difference between iced coffee and cold brew?
- Iced coffee brews coffee with the use of hot water, and pours it over ice cubes; in other words, the extraction of oils, caffeine and other elements occurs with the quick immersion in hot water.

We really liked classic and affordable cold brew machines. Therefore, we very highly recommend drippers such as a Willow & Everett Cold Brew Coffee Maker (which is essentially a mason jar with a filter and a stainless-steel spout), Coffee Gator Cold Brew Maker, and OXO Cold Brew Coffee Maker. All of these three options can brew cold coffee beverages very easily. They also give enormous flexibility and control in the brewing process. You, the coffee barista, are able to determine the strength (via amount of coffee grounds, length of soaking, and amount of water). Of these, our favorite is a Willow & Everett cold brewer. In addition to being a cold brew coffee maker, it can also serve as a cold brew dispenser.
However, if you are looking for a multi-purpose coffee machine that brews cold brews and hot coffee, Ninja Hot and Cold Brewed System might be your friend. As we noted above, it brews cold brews at a slightly higher temperature than needed (110 F rather than 68-72 F). However, this allows the machine to brew a bit more quickly (20-25 minutes).
If you are looking for an automatic machine that will reduce the wait time from 12 hours to as little as 25 minutes, you may find Cuisinart DCB10 a particularly appealing choice. Unlike Ninja Hot and Cold Brewed System, Cuisinart DCB10 brews cold brews in cold or room-temperature water, as it should.
