I was curious about Nespresso VertuoPlus Deluxe. Deluxe sounded like a luxury model in the Nespresso Vertuo product line. I was interested in how I could benefit from paying more for this deluxe machine: faster brewing time, better coffee extraction technology, perhaps coffee grounds? When I received this unit, I was really confused and disappointed.
I was really pumped and excited to test this machine for the DeLonghi Nespresso Vertuo Plus review! The machine sounded like a big upgrade. After all, it contained a plus! I was so curious what this machine could bring: new features, faster brewing time, more laser technology, perhaps even coffee grounds? When I received the machine, I was flummoxed why this coffee machine was called "Plus."
Keurig K-Duo Plus is a brand new release, now available at Amazon, Walmart, Amazon and other stores. Keurig Duo Plus is a truly innovative machine. It allowed me to brew a single cup and a full carafe from one pouring outlet. It saved tons of space through its design. The machine brews deliciously rich coffee EASY and CONVENIENTLY. Comes with some good features such as strength control, brew pause and auto-off. Unlike other machines, K-Duo Plus is compatible with reusable "My k-cup" filters.
I found out that this espresso machine is not called Magnifica for nothing. I found it to be a truly magnificent appliance with a great feature set. Although it is not the cheapest espresso machine out there, the price-to-value ratio is quite strong. I was impressed with its integrated coffee beans grinder that grinds beans instantly, right before brewing.
Primula Percolator (6-cup) PES-3306 reminded me of Bialetti Moka Express (6 cup) percolator in design. Much cheaper (1/3rd of Moka’s price), it is a simple brewer. Sleek and attractive design. Breeze to clean. It does crank out coffee with rich taste and dark color. Made lattes, cappuccinos or other blended coffees. This primula percolator provides a simple and classic way to make authentic espresso, brewed on the stovetop in minutes. Aluminium flavor. Made in China, and Bialetti 6-cup might be worth considering as a better alternative.
Mr. Coffee 12-cup programmable coffee maker (CGX23) is among the best affordable drip coffee makers. Though its performance does not live up to the best drip coffee makers (it takes an extended period of time to brew a cup of coffee), I was impressed with the advanced feature set in this machine. Fully programmable (auto on and off). Plastic, but neat quality. Good price-to-value ratio. BPA-free, but contains LOTS of plastic chemicals unknown to me.
After using Lattissima Pro, I was really bummed about Lattissima Plus. The machine seems very basic, with far fewer features than Lattissima Pro. It's less expensive than Pro, but it is overall very expensive.
I had a mostly good experience with the DeLonghi Nespresso Lattissima Pro. The machine is a solid yet simple espresso machine for beginners or intermediate users. Nespresso Lattissima Pro comes with quite a lot of useful features: easy operation, rapid heat-up time, and 19 BARs of pressure to extract coffee. The brewing temperature is not exactly perfect, but the outcome is a cup of creamy, delicious and incredibly smooth coffee. I did not like that the machine limited me to the use of aluminium capsules only. The machine seems a bit expensive given limited use (but seems fair given the quality of coffee) [...]
DeLonghi EC155 can be a surprising espresso maker. It can be a great choice for some, but DeLonghi's EC155 may not fit all. My machine came at a reasonable price tag. The Zojirushi Coffee Maker 5 cup is a very simple yet efficient coffee maker. It’s compact and lightweight, making it a good choice for most smaller spaces. Though mostly made with plastic, Zojirushi coffee maker (5 cup), or Zojirushi Zutto coffee maker, is a nice and quite sturdy coffee maker. Though advertised as 5 cups, I only measured had the capacity of about 24oz (4 cups). Given its low price, it comes with good features beating some of its competitors like AmazonBasics. The unit is more expensive than other similar units, but I feel like the feature set and quality stand behind the price.
